HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR TUNES
For From The Strait Site Features, Social Features, and/or Spotify Playlist Adds:
Email us (Kris & Nolan) at thejerks@fromthestrait.com with links to your song (YouTube, Spotify & Soundcloud preferred), plus links to photos, bio, and info about the song. Please try not to attach any files, just send links whenever possible. If you have a one-sheet and/or EPK link, send that too! We prefer emails that have the release date in the subject, as well as personal messages instead of mass emails. Those small details help you stand out! Generic emails that don’t fit the genres we feature, and/or unneeded attachments will automatically be deleted. And you don’t need to send multiple follow-ups, just one follow-up with all the streaming links once the song is out.
If your lyrics are misogynist, or racist, don’t bother sending it. We won’t feature it.
PLEASE NOTE: We receive hundreds of submissions each day, and we aren’t able to get to them all. (And if you’re tired of sending out emails without much luck, visit our PR page for help getting your songs out to music media.)

Send your mp3s, song info, and band info to themusicjerks@gmail.com. DO NOT send mp3 or radio submissions to our other email, we cannot receive mp3 files there due to email overload. As mentioned above, they will be deleted.
